About the collection

Karlo Grigolia - A sculptor. Studied at the Faculty of Sculpture at Tbilisi State Academy of Art at the studio of the prominent sculptor Nikoloz Kandelaki in 1950-56. The author's individual style, aspiration for the generalization of the plastic form, abstraction and typical stylization are clearly revealed in the represented portrait.
