About the collection

  • The showcase presents works by foreign sculptors in the XIX-XX centuries, which entered the museum in the last century. These include rarities of European and Russian origin:

1. Flower vase – bronze. XIXc. With oval handle, decorated with floral ornaments. With a flat standing.

2. Sculpture - woman with torso (with cape), bronze. Rectangle on marble standing, German. The first  half of XX century. Has an inscription: - "katzgzaben".

3. Bust - of a woman, author: - Bormel, bronze. With marble stand. The second half of XIX c. German inscription - "E.Bermel" "berlin.

4. Statue - "Caucasian", author - sculptor E. Lansere.Bronze. The second half of XIX c. Eugene Lancere moved to Georgia in 1905-07. Created paintings and graphics: "Metekhi", "Svetitskhoveli", "Bagrati Temple" and others.

5. Sculpture - "Capture." Copper, bronze. The second half of XIX c. Made in St. Petersburg Worfell distillery.
