On 21 March 2024, World Down Syndrome Day was celebrated at the Ilia Chavchavadze Museum.
Professor Otar Gogolishvili, the head of the Ajara Khariton Akhvlediani Museum, led the event.  With the activity—a smile and kind words—we were able to make the "children of the sun" happy.
 An exhibition of works by people with Down Syndrome was organised at the museum.
