Based on the artifacts preserved in the Batumi Archaeological Museum, students will learn about the traditions of metal production in Adjara, the methods of extraction and processing and the stages of their development. They will discuss the role of ancient metallurgists in the formation of Colchian culture.
For a better understanding of the mentioned issues, students will be given the opportunity to view photographs and videos; they will observe the crushing process through the ore splitting tool located in the yard of the museum.
The program is intended for: IX-XI class students.
