About the collection

The mouth is straight, the neck cylindric and the body spheric. The Foot is flat. Upper part of the body is covered with animal profiles, performed in straight or circular strokes. Three are images of of horses and one of a deer. The horse’s head is stylized and drawn as an elongated square. The horses are shown with flying manes. The fourth figure is the image of the deer. Stylized head is elongated similar to the square. Tall, branched horns are embedded enface. The fragment of the tail is also preserved. The pitcher bears the characteristics of ceremonial –ritual features. The graphic is distinctive. Deer is regarded a symbol of the animal fertility, it is connected with the heavenly universe and personifies the auroral star, right by the side of the main deities the Sun and the Moon.
