The exposition of the museum presents a rich collection of coins. The program will allow students to get acquainted with Greek-Roman-Byzantine numismatic monuments found in the coastal zone of Adjara, used in international circulation, different types of local Colchian Tetri, hoards of Arab coins, as well as Iranian, Seljuk and Mongolian money, European (Polish and Netherlands silver thalers) coins of the late Middle Ages. This information will help students deepen their knowledge of world history and individual monarchs.
As a practical work, we will offer students to make sketches of coins and use them to depict the production centers and distribution area of coins on the world map.
The program is intended for: V-XII class students.
