Today, an event called "Christmas-New Year" was held at the Batumi Archaeological Museum according to Ajara's archaeological and ethnographic data, led by Irma Karanadze, a scientific worker of the Batumi Archaeological Museum.
At the event, the traditions related to Christmas and New Year were discussed. Also, the importance of the archaeological monuments found on the territory of Ajara, about the oldest Christian churches and the largest ecclesiastical centers built in Skhalta - IV, Petra - VI, Khino - IX, and Tbeti - in the X century.
At the end of the meeting, the students visited the museum and took photos.
