About the collection

  The sculptural composition “Nymph and little Faun” by the Italian sculptor Emilio Santarelli.  Emilio Santarelli studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence. He created religious and mythological compositions, monumental sculptures. This classically exquisite sculptural composition depicts the constant companions of Dionysus, the ancient god of wine and merriment. A nymph, personification of nature is represented in the form of a beautiful girl, lying on the animal skin, holding a bunch of grapes in her right hand and the faun, with the goat legs looking at her.
