About the collection

Levan Songulashvili – A Visual artist, painter, graphic artist. Studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Tbilisi Academy of Arts (2009-13) and at New York Academy of Arts (speciality-painting, 2014-2015). L. Songulashvili’s painting “Medusa” was sold at the exhibition-auction organized by New York Academy of Arts and Sotheby's auction house in 2015. The picture shows a profile portrait of the old nun with head-scarf and characteristic features. Clear drawing, vivid light-shadow effects give the work a characteristic shade
