About the collection

Nikanor Tyutryumov (1821-1877) - Studied at the St. Petersburg Imperial Academy of Arts under the guidance of the famous artist Karl Bryullov.  He was Awarded large and small silver medals In 1850. In 1853 was awarded the title of academic. He worked in the genre of portrait and mythology. On the presented work, there is depicted a portrait of a young, elegant woman adorned with a feather hat, the character is wearing a dark-colored dress and white bow around her neck.
