About the collection

Roman Krikheli -  Painter, graphic artist. Studied at Iakob Nikoladze art school in Tbilisi (1972-74). He  lives and works in the USA since 1975. The artist's work "The most beautiful woman in the world" was sold at a private auction for 4.5 million dollars in 2015.  Roman Kricheli was named among the world's three greatest figurative artists by Huffpost Arts. On a neutral dark background, various objects are depicted, which are embodied in conditional space. Effective lighting, abstracted forms and their textured surface give the work a kind of surreal look.
