Zurab Nizharadze – A Painter, graphic artist. One of the important representatives of Georgian painting of the second half of the XX century. People's Artist of Georgia, Laureate of Shota Rustaveli State Prize. Studied at the Faculty of Painting at Tbilisi State Academy of Arts at the studio of the prominent  artist Apolon Kutateladze in 1949-55. Zurab Nizharadze's creative work is characterized by thematic diversity: Portrait, Nude, genre scenes. His paintings are distinguished by exquisite, bright colors and romantic mood, which creates a harmonious  unity of the work. Nude takes a big place in the artist's works. The painting “A Woman with Thread Balls” is one of the fascinating examples of the nude cycle.
