About the collection

A bas-relief of the Norwegian writer Knut Hamsun is kept in the Nobel Brothers Technological Museum. As you know, he was a Nobel Prize winner. Hamsun travelled through the Caucasus, and his curiosity brought him to Batumi. Before visiting the city by sea, he travelled to Baku and Tbilisi. Knut Hamsun later described this journey in his book - "Fairyland."
