About the collection

The imitation Nobel cabinet in the museum shows different types, shapes, and sizes of laboratory vessels that Alfred Nobel used in his laboratories.
 There are different types of laboratory vessels. The material of the vessels defined on the substances we are dealing with and the kind of research being carried out. Glass vessels are mainly used in oil refinery laboratories, and glass is characterised by its heat resistance. The main types of laboratory vessels are: Test tube, flask, funnel, measuring-glass, pipette and others.
