About the collection

The steam pump on display in the museum is another of Ludwig Nobel's successful projects. This pump was unique because it met all the requirements for working with petroleum products, even under harsh conditions. Sixteen steam pumps were used to pump/transport oil or refined kerosene from Baku to Batumi.
