The Kitchen was an important hearth in the Adjarian family, where was the fireplace, low beds, utensils for everyday use, and furniture. A variety of utensils made of wood, clay, and copper have been known as household items.

The most common type of folk furniture in Adjara is the cradle(Akvani), which was made of chestnut, walnut, linden, and alder materials. Akvani is a baby bed, crib, and swing bed.  Every Adjarian family cared about it so gently.
