Black Sea diversity
The aim of the program is for adults to get acquainted with the diversity of the Black Sea, to understand its political-economic and ecological significance, and to think about the problems of the sea and its protection. Participants will hear conversations about the history and geographical features of the Black Sea. Location, history of the name, and mythological or ancient references will give them an idea of the youngest sea in the world.
Particular attention will be paid to marine biodiversity. About algae, invertebrates, fish, and mammals. The program uses a variety of photos and videos.
The lesson is accompanied by an interactive part where participants complete a fun crossword puzzle, have the opportunity to engage in a cognitive game, draw, sculpt or origami draw the inhabitants of the Black Sea, and present a work of art.
The program is designed for III-VII, students of grades.
Program Duration: 50 - 70 minutes.
