About the collection

  • In the early twentieth century, in the the museum has been logged  ecclesiastical collections from various raided monasteries that survived the repressions of the 1930s. Some of the exhibits were exhibited in the exhibition space.

1. "Gospel of the altar" in a metal cover. metal-work relief. Enamel technique is used. On the cover are depicted evangelists with symbols. Enamel technique is used. On the cover are depicted evangelists with symbols. Liturgy book. The Gospel is printed in the Old Slavic alphabet in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. The beginning of XIXc. Metal, wood, enamel.

2. Reliquary - a vessel for storing sacred presents. It contains parts of the  sacrament for communion  a  sick and a  dying human.  Gilded. XIX.XX c.c

3. Reliquary - small, metal utensils to store sacred parts, to sacrament the sick person. Cloisonne enamel is used. Filigree. Metal. XIX.XX cc.
