Fossilazed Coral

Corals –colonial  invertebrate organisms that mostly dwell under the sea  t around 100-200 deep , their agatized fossil remains- mostly made up of calcite and aragonite-are often found in Medditarian Sea region and form ocean reefs.The most archaic remains of these coral polyps of around 590 million years old ,were first recorded in Cambrian.
