About the collection

•            In 1912,  Batumi Botanical Garden has been developed.  With the help of the Batumi Rural Farmers' Society, the Botanical Garden established connections with various subtropical districts and botanical gardens around the world.   Among them is the world-famous firm "Wilmoren" (France), from which the Batumi Botanical Garden received 314 species of plants, flower seeds and seedlings. Along with plants and seedlings, gardening equipment was brought to Batumi.
