- Lado Gudiashvili (1896-1980) Georgian public artist, Laureate of Shota Rustaveli prize. He worked as a painter, graphic artist, theater and film artist. His works include scenes from the bohemian life of old Tbilisi on the one hand, and on the other – legends and stories inspired by the Georgian past. He lived in Paris from 1919 to 1926. In 1922 and 1926 he had a solo exhibition in Paris. In 1973, a personal exhibition of Lado Gudiashvili's works was held in the Batumi Exhibition Hall, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the artist.
