                  Red-figure krater and Greek mythology

Students will listen to conversations about the close trade-economic relations between ancient Greece and Colchis Empire and their importance. Attention will be focused on Kobuleti pine forest in BC. On the red-figure krater found in the Greek necropolis in the V century, which is one of the most magnificent examples of ancient art. We will talk about the master of the Pine Crater - the artist of the Niobides, who introduced and continued the traditions of wall painting in vase painting, presenting various mythological stories and scenes.

      The program is intended for: VI-X class students.

      Duration of the program: 60-90 minutes.
