About the collection

•                 As a result of the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878, Adjara was returned to the motherland. Among with the regular Russian troops, Georgian army  also took part in the war. 30 thousand Georgian soldiers went to the battlefield during the war. Georgian soldiers and officers showed examples of heroism and devotion. Kobuleti and Guria detachment forse were formed.       

          The population of the country participated in the war. Also  they  helped them   with food, fodder , flat,  accommodation and other ways.
