About the collection

•                  The map is Compiled in 1910 from the 1909 works of individual Black Sea hydrographic companies and supplemented by the latest data available for that period.

       The map shows the area of the city according to the data of the Ministry of Roads of 1898. Five lighthouses located in the headland of Batumi are separated. The average depth of water is taken in feet.

The map was compiled by Lieutenant  Poruchik Zelenov. Adjustments were made by first-class captain Artiswager. It was outlined by N. Beriozin and S. Parfionov.

Published by the Main Hydrographic Division in 1910.
