About educational programs

About the program

The artefacts presented in the exhibition of the Museum of Religion inform museum visitors about the history of Batumi and the identity of the Georgian tradition in terms of religious tolerance. The exhibition takes into account the interests of all ethnic groups — different streams of Christianity — Orthodoxy, Catholicism, Islam, Judaism and Buddhism.
Address: Queen Tamar Avenue N 2
The museum is open every day (except public holidays) from 10:00 to 18:00
Educational programmes aim to increase students' interest in museum activities, involve them in the protection and promotion of cultural heritage and make the museum a place of joy and inspiration for young people.

The Museum of Religion is a modern interactive space where visitors can use the internet free of charge. They receive information about artefacts via QR code and can visit museums with virtual 3D glasses.
The educational programmes developed by the Museum of Religion include museum excursions, lectures in the form of presentations, cognitive activities, interesting activities and master classes.
