Presentation of the results of the archaeological excavations.

On January 20, a presentation of the results of the archaeological excavations in Khelvachauri was held at Batumi Archaeological Museum.

 

The research was carried out in the village of Kedkedi, Atchariskali gorge, where the researchers found a large cellar complex with 11 wine jars and winepress, also tanks for wine pressing.

 The discovery and popularisation of the artifacts will contribute to the development of wine tourism in Adjara.
