On 1 February, as part of the project "Museum Hour" at Nobel Brothers Technological Museum"- a public lecture was held on the topic: "Kolkheti Ramsar Sites, Treasures of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage" by Isolda Machutadze, Head of the Department of the Institute of Peatlands and Aquatic Ecosystems.

On 1 February, as part of the project "Museum Hour" at Nobel Brothers Technological Museum"- a public lecture was held on the topic: "Kolkheti Ramsar Sites, Treasures of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage" by Isolda Machutadze, Head of the Department of the Institute of Peatlands and Aquatic Ecosystems.
The public lecture was attended by Inga Gogiberidze, the deputy director of LEPL Ajara Museum, the Head of Khariton Akhvlediani Museum Otar Gogolishvili, Emzar Kakhidze, the Head of Archeological Museum, Tengo Dolidze, the Head of Ajara art museum, Guranda Dolidze- the religion museum manager, students of the 18th public school, teachers and the people interested in following topics.
The audience paid particular attention to the special features of the globally unique Sphagnum peatlands and their ecosystem services. The scientist focussed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Kolkheti rainforests, the UNESCO criteria, and the ecological role of Sphagnum peatlands as a regulatory value for climate change.
The discussion centered on the protection and sensible use of natural resources to benefit current and future generations.
