On 23 May, a lecture was held at the Ilia Chavchavadze Museum as part of the International Museum Week in connection with International Museum Day:  "Museums for Education and Research". An exhibition of the "Droeba" and "Iveria" magazines and newspapers kept in the museum was also organised.
The event was opened by the head of the Ajara Khariton Akhvlediani Museum, Otar Gogolishvili.
The lecture was given by a teacher of Georgian language and literature from the 8th public school of Batumi Tamta Kvaratskhelia.
Students and teachers from the 8th public school of Batumi attended the lecture.
