Georgia is hosting the international "Limes Congress-2024" dedicated to the history and archaeology of the Roman Empire for the first time! The members of the congress visited the Ajara Khariton Akhvlediani Museum and the Ajara Museum of Art and Religion. The guests had the opportunity to learn about the history, culture, and art of Georgia. The Lima Congress has been held every three years since 1949 on the territory of the former "Imperium Romanum" (Roman Empire). Professors and leading specialists from research institutes and universities from forty-two countries, up to three hundred and fifty delegates participate in the event.
