From the expedition field to the museum.
A hoe-like tool was found in Khelvachauri, in the village of Khutrauri. Archaeological field excavations were carried out in the village in 1969; the discoverer is the archaeologist Sergo Gogitidze. It is made of black basalt stone, the surface of which is covered with a thin grey patina. Both sides of the tool are slightly oval; the back is covered with natural bark. There is a deep groove on both sides of the non-cutting side of the tool. The non-cutting side has an oval inscription. The working blade is thin and oval. It is kept in the Archaeological Museum of Batumi.
