The LEPL Ajara Museum welcomed Polish students participating in the exchange program

The Ajara Khariton Akhvlediani Museum of the LEPL Ajara Museum welcomed Polish students participating in the exchange programme on 1 September. The Minister of Education, Culture, and Sport of Ajara Maya Khajishvili, the Deputy Minister Zaur Akhvlediani, the Director of the Lepl Ajara Museum Teona Zoidze, and the head of the Khariton Akhvlediani Museum Otar Gogolishvili welcomed the guests to the museum. During the meeting they talked about the friendly relations between Poland and Georgia, discussed historical aspects, and talked about the exchange programmes, got to know our culture, met young people, and took a tour of the Khariton Akhvlediani and Ajara art museums. The students mentioned they were thrilled with their first experience of an exchange programme in Georgia. They also thanked the representatives of the Ministry for supporting the project and the Ajara Museum for introducing them to Georgian culture. At the Ajara Art Museum, the students were welcomed by the head of the museum, Tengo Dolidze, also, had the opportunity to interview contemporary artist Tekla Meladze, whose exhibition is currently on display in the gallery of the Ajara Art Museum.
