The bowl was discovered in 2023 in Kobuleti in the Hellenistic cemetery of Pichvnari.
It is made of reddish-colored clay and has thick walls. The edge of the mouth is rounded, the body is broad and deep, and it has a high, narrow-waisted, square heel.
After the flat-bottomed bowls from the Hellenistic period, there are examples with a square cross-section and a raised heel. Sometimes they are also disc-shaped.
The sample has been restored, but a small fragment of the front is missing; it is kept in the depots of the Batumi Archaeological Museum.
